Be alert for these warning signs of tire, alignment, shock, and strut issues:

 

Thumping sound often means a tire coming apart or poor wheel balance

• Sidewall bruises from scraping against a curb or other object may indicate tire damage
• Squealing on curves at normal speed may mean poor alignment or improper inflation

 

Be Alert for These Exhaust Problem Warning Signs:

• Rattling (usually caused by loose brackets, loose heat shields or missing bolts)
• Louder than normal exhaust noise (rust has corroded through pipe or muffler)
